London Docklands Museum

Walk – London Docklands

Meet at WESTFERRY DLR station at 10.30am for a 7.2km walk with time to visit Museum of Docklands at the end and lots of other historic features on the way. Please bring a snack for lunch, but we can pop into Wetherspoons after our visit for a beer before we go home.

Acle, Norfolk

Acle. "The Gateway to the Broads", is a pretty market town on the River Bure in Norfolk, halfway between Norwich and Great Yarmouth.

We'll stay at the Travelodge in Acle (A47 Roundabout, Acle Bypass, NR13 3BE). The railway station is convenient for day trips to Norwich for city sightseeing, or Great Yarmouth for the seaside. We're invited to visit Ian’s new pad in nearby Brundall for tea and cakes. We can walk on the Weavers' Way by the River Bure in Acle, and Ian can lead us on his favourite walks from Brundall.

Deposit of £50 to be included in our accommodation booking please.

Join us for a night out at the White Horse, Great Baddow. No booking required, but about 7:30pm for food and more like 8:30pm if you just fancy a drink.

Photo Treasure Hunt

A fun game where participants are given a list of items, tasks, or scenarios to capture with a camera. Unlike a traditional scavenger hunt where you physically collect objects, the objective is to snap photos to prove that you’ve completed each challenge.

The subjects for your photos are:

  1. Something you have baked.
  2. A corny shop name.
  3. A Royal Pub Sign.
  4. A house name which includes a plant.
  5. Someone walking through water
  6. An expired item of food in your cupboard.
  7. A house of cards.
  8. Animal footprints
  9. A selfie with a statue.
  10. Tie Breaker - Best Autumn Photo

Please share your photos this evening on Zoom and Cress will be the judging of who best completed the challenge.
