For the bank holiday weekend, we have exclusive use of The Star Bunkhouse in the village of Bwlch in the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons). This comfortable bunkhouse has spacious bedrooms, a homely lounge with wood burning stove, a well-equipped self-catering kitchen and plenty of hot showers. All bed linen is provided
The bunkhouse is alongside The Beacons Way footpath in the gap ('bwlch') between the Black Mountains and the central Brecon Beacons.

Meet at Tower Hill tube station at 10:30am for a city walk via the North Bank to Vauxhall and then back along the South Bank via the Globe Theatre.
Along the route we shall meet up with Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a bust of Bazelgette, Cleopatra's Needle (actually one of Tuthmosis III), Boudicca and her daughters, and spend some time in Tate Britain.
We’ll find some cafés en route, but you might want to bring some snacks as well.

Bank Holiday Monday 26th May
Walk - Bradwell Marshes & Tillingham
Cress
A walk of about 10 miles exploring the remote marshland of the Dengie Peninsula. Highlights include the tiny Saxon chapel of St Peter-on-the-Wall and the picturesque village of Tillingham.
Meet at 10.30am at the parking area for Dengie Nature Reserve and St Peters Chapel on East End Road, Bradwell-on-Sea, CM0 7PW. Bring sandwiches for lunch, and we’ll get a drink at the pub in Tillingham in the afternoon.

Walk - Stock and The Bakers Arms

Meet by the village Hall in Stock at 7:30pm for a short walk followed by drinks in the Bakers Arms. You can park for free in the village hall car park, but remember they lock the gate at 10pm.
