Bridges Hostel

Friday 25th to Sunday 27th July

Bridges, Shropshire

Dave P

A weekend in a peaceful location in the beautiful Shropshire countryside near Long Mynd. YHA Bridges is a small traditional hostel which was the old village school at Ratlinghope in the valley between Long Mynd and Stiperstones. There are plenty of options for walking from the hostel. The Victorians called the area Little Switzerland and bottled the local spring water, but if you want something stronger, The Bridges Inn is only 100 yards from the hostel.

Directions: From Church Stretton take 'The Burway' (steep narrow road), turn right at fork at top on Long Mynd, then first left and first right at bottom.
