Pleshey Walk

Meet in Pleshey village by the picnic area in the main street at 7:30pm. We’ll do a short walk round the old moat (3-4 miles) and meet back at The Leather Bottle for a drink about 9ish.

Sunday 9^th July

Northey Island Walk

We’re visiting Northey Island, a National Trust wilderness just off Maldon. Surrounded by saltmarsh, this important coastal habitat is home to lots of plants and wildlife. It is accessed by a tidal causeway on foot. Note that there are no facilities on the Island, so bring a packed lunch.

Meet 10.30am at Butt Lane car park, Maldon CM9 5HD. £1.70 all day Sunday parking payable through Ringo. Plenty of pubs and tea shops available at the end of the walk.

Join us on Zoom, looking at events for October and trips for next year.

Wednesday 19^th July

Bouldering!

Meet at Skreens Park Activity Centre (Skreens Park Rd, Chelmsford, Essex CM1 4NN) at 7:30pm for a spot of scrambling about on the bouldering wall, followed by a drink at The Hare, Roxwell Road from about 9pm.

Let Jonathan know if you plan to come and be sure to wear loose clothing and grippy trainers.

Pub Night - The Old Windmill

Join Jim at the Old Windmill, South Hanningfield, CM3 8HT at 7.30 for a meal or nearer 8.30pm if you just fancy a drink.
