Evening Walk

Nigel

Danbury Common revisited. Some of you may recall a very successful evening walk last year which Nigel organised but was unable to go on due to illness. Not wanting to miss out he has re-scheduled it for this year!

Meet in the car park by the Cricketers pub in Danbury at 7.30pm for an hour or so's walking before meeting back at the pub for a well-earned drink at about 9pm.

As you go up the hill into Danbury on the A414 from Chelmsford, turn right opposite the Bell Inn into Well Lane. At the end of Well Lane, turn left (Woodhill Rd). At the second turning on the left (Penny Royal Rd) you will see the Cricketers Arms. There is a small National Trust car park by the junction. See map.

Trudi

Sid Kipper, the folk singer and raconteur, is appearing at the Rayleigh Arms pub in Terling. Trudi assures us that although he is very funny, he can be quite rude (so not suitable for Lynn). The cost is about five pounds - for more details and tickets either contact Trudi before the 11th May, or the Rayleigh Arms direct on 01245 353558.
