Pub night – Queens Head

Join us for a drink at the Queens Head, Church Rd, Boreham, CM3 3EG, from 8:30pm. Note that the pub is a bit tucked away just beyond the eastern edge of the churchyard (///costumed.abode.locate).

Friday 3^rd to Sunday 5^th March

Weekend in Cambridge

YHA Cambridge is near the railway station, a short walk from the city centre with its myriad of museums, colleges, pubs etc. The hostel was recently modernised, with its own café and bar.

As well as enjoying the cultural attractions of the city, we could stroll across the meadows to Grantchester, or walk from Waterbeach on the towpath of the River Cam. Or perhaps try the Cambridge chalk streams circular walk following Hobson's Brook and Cherry Hinton Brook, or even trek the full 19-mile Cambridge Ring.

Meet us at the Horse and Groom, Roxwell Rd, CM1 3RU at 7:30pm for some pub grub. Let Cress know by 8^th March if you want to come so a table can be booked.

Sunday 19^th March

Colne Valley Walk

Meet in the Chappel & Wakes Colne station car park (CO6 2DS ///unstated.unveils.indulges) at 10:30am for an 8 mile walk to Earls Colne and back. Expect to enjoy expansive views and a fantastic brick viaduct. Please bring sandwiches, but there’s an excellent chance of a pub at the end.

Join Andrew and Carol for a tour of the Land of the Thunder Dragon, plus some wildlife in northern India. All pictures a product of their visit last year. On Zoom at 8.30pm.
