CYHA IN DIRTY WEEKEND SCANDAL!

It was shock, horror, probe as eleven members of CYHA spent a tempestuous weekend in a remote cottage in Surrey.

Friday 14th November saw much suspicious behaviour as various members of CYHA were observed smuggling assorted bags and boxes into the idyllic National Trust cottage they later claimed was a Youth Hostel.

Saturday night saw even stranger goings on as witnesses distinctly heard cries of "Cheers!" accompanied by popping and sizzling sounds later claimed to be "chestnuts roasting on an open fire"!

Eyewitness Pumpkin Cat, curvaceous redhead, 21 (cat years), stated :"When they let me in they insisted on stroking me excessively, often in spite of my protestations. It was also clear that none of them had had a really good wash for some time - a subject on which I feel very strongly, as I personally wash several times a day. Dried-up springs are poor excuse. I was also aware that there had been alcohol on the premises, as I could distinctly smell beer and mulled wine in the room. The alcohol was no longer apparent, but it wasn't hard to see where it had gone with one member passed out on the floor and a rather boisterous game of scrabble being played in front of the fire. I was truly shocked! They didn't even give me a decent bit of tuna."

When asked to comment on these scandalous occurrences the club chairperson, Trudi Warner, curvaceous blonde, 21, stated: "I'm afraid I don't remember, I fell asleep after my second glass of wine." - a likely story!

TEASHOPS AND OLD COGGESHALL

Saturday 8th November saw Lynn guiding several CYHA members around the delights of Coggeshall and it's environs. In spite of being quite clear in her instructions to everyone else, Lynn did forget her own sandwiches - or was this just a ruse to warrant an extra cream bun in the afternoon?

SPICE GIRLS TRIUMPH!

Our badminton evening, organised by Dave J, saw a magnificent demonstration of girl power as Janet and Caroline brutally slaughtered Gary and Steve in a tense, nailbiting match. Give those girls a big bar of chocolate!

JIM'S ALL HEART

Jim raised a whopping £156 in aid of the British Heart Foundation on the London to Brighton cycle ride. He wants to thank everyone in the group who sponsored him.
